Question:
Why am I getting an MFC42.dll error when I launch the software?
Answer:
Most likely, your system has created multiple MFC42.dll files throughout specific folders. You will need to rename or remove these before you can continue.
To correct this problem, you must FIRST uninstall our software through the Add/Remove Programs icon in your Control Panel. Then go to the Find Files function of Windows (Click the START button, select FIND, then FILES or FOLDERS). Type in MFC42.DLL and click enter. You will most likely have multiple files that are found in your system. Rename all of the files following the naming convention below by right clicking on the file and selecting rename. Once all of the files have been renamed install CD-Maker 2000 and then restart your computer.
RENAME the files to MFC42.dl1, MFC42.dl2, MFC.dl3, etc,...
