Built on a fifth-generation engine, NTI CD Maker? Standard delivers advanced features to keep pace with the latest generation of CD-R/RW drives with broad support in all Windows environments (95/98/2000/NT/XP).

Extreme Audio capabilities
Because a significant percentage of CD-R/RW recording needs are oriented towards audio, NTI CD Maker includes an EXTREME AUDIO section, featuring high-performance audio features such as MP3 on-the-fly recording, MP3 decoding, MP3 encoding (20x trial), CD Text support and high-speed audio extraction (ripping).
An upgrade to NTI CD-Maker Professional allows users to record Live Audio, Video CD and SVCD, turning a PC into a virtual recording studio. The professional version then allows users to create Custom CD images, labels and jewel-case inserts.
Added Reliability and Convenience
NTI CD Maker includes added convenience features such as the new FileCD 2.0 and EasySteps? interface. FileCD 2.0, an intuitive drag-and-drop packet-writing application, turns the CD-R/RW drive into a 650MB floppy. The EasySteps? interface provides a step-by-step methodology while maintaining easy access to broad options desired in CD mastering applications.
NTI CD Maker offers a more reliable CD burning experience with features like ?Smart Decision? to automatically choose the appropriate burning settings, Overburn? support to burn beyond standard capacity and an advanced buffering algorithm to reduce ?under-run?? errors.
Available with Intel Desktop Boards
NTI CD Maker will be available on the Intel Express Installer CD included with Intel Desktop Boards in the second quarter of 2002. NTI CD-Maker is ideally positioned to support new features on the latest Intel Desktop Boards such as Intel Extreme Graphics and 20-bit AC?97 audio.
