The miniPC is one of several unique hardware solutions to be announced in 2006 by AOpen as a part of its MoDT (Mobile on desktop) Bootcamp channel initiative.
The miniPC gives resellers an Intel-based alternative that supports Intel ViiV™. NTI Shadow™ and NTI CD&DVD Maker™ support the Intel 130W dual core CPU chipset included in the AOpen miniPC Duo. NTI Shadow offers miniPC users the ability to automatically backup files in real-time or during scheduled backups. NTI CD& DVD Maker enables miniPC users to burn and copy audio CDs, VCDs, and DVDs from the miniPC for sharing, saving, and archiving.
