Dragon Burn V3.0 provides Mac users (Including Jaguar) with performance, stability and flexibility they need to produce audio, data, MP3 and Enhanced (audio + data) CDs and DVDs according to their personal preferences. Dragon Burn V3.0 builds on the features that have made the earlier versions so popularmulti-session support, a multi-burning engine that allows users to write multiple CDs or DVDs simultaneously and support for the latest high-speed CD and DVD burners. The software fully supports new DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/+RW internal and external drives (USB 2.0 and FireWire) as well as 52x CD writers.

New with Dragon Burn V3.0 is NTI's exclusive technology: Dynamic Drive Support (DDS) and Live Update. DDS eliminates time-consuming software/hardware compatibility issues. Live Update optimizes software compatibility with the user's burner.

With NTI's powerful Dragon Burn CD and DVD mastering software, Mac users have a single, integrated solution for recording audio, data, and MP3 files on CD-R, CD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW or DVD-RAM discs.

Audio Features -- Dragon Burn enables users to convert CD tracks and audio files to AIFF/MP3/WAV files and burn CDDA, MP3, AIFF and WAV files to create custom audio CDs. Dragon Burn also supports CD-Text for adding titles and artist names to CDs. With Dragon Burn's Audio Swapping Support, audio tracks are automatically extracted from a CD to the user's local hard drive simply by dragging and dropping. Multiple audio tracks can be extracted or encoded at the same time (WAVE/AIFF/MP3).

Data Features -- Dragon Burn fully supports ISO 9660(MS-DOS 8.3) and Joliet, HFS (Mac OS), HFS+ (Mac OS Extended) and Universal Disk Format (UDF) 1.5 file systems. For hybrid CDs and DVDs, users can mix Mac OS and ISO file system combinations, including data from previous ISO sessions. By making a hybrid Data CD or DVD, the recorded data can be read by both Windows and Macintosh systems.

CD/DVD Copy Features -- Dragon Burn provides support for duplication of all types of CD formats such as Data, Audio, Video, CD-Extra (Enhanced), Mixed-Mode and Multisession discs as well as non-copy protected DVDs. Users can also create an image of a CD or DVD on their hard drive so they can burn it onto a CD or DVD at their convenience.

Advanced Features With Dragon Burn, users can take advantage of as many CD/DVD burners as they have connected to their Macintosh computer. They can erase a disc on their USB burner, copy a disc image on their internal SuperDrive, burn their favorite MP3 audio collection on their new 52X FireWire drive.

Dragon Burn's new device manager makes all of these capabilities possible. The device manager keeps track of every CD and DVD device connected to the host computer and acts as a traffic cop, directing traffic and avoiding conflicts so that Dragon Burn can take maximum advantage of the machine's full resources.

Convenient Extras An intuitive yet powerful user interface enables users to quickly step through the options available for creating CDs/DVDs. NTI's unique "Smart Decision" technology automatically selects the best writing method for your layout. It also recommends the best writing speed based on the interface (USB, FireWire, etc.), drive and media properties.
