Agreement Adds Reliable, High Speed, CD Burning to RealNetworks RealOne Player, Enabling Users to Burn Multimedia Content to CD

IRVINE, CALIFORNIA, AUGUST 20, 2002 NTI (NewTech Infosystems, Inc.) today announced it has entered into an agreement with RealNetworks, Inc. (Nasdaq: RNWK), to provide NTIs CD burning technologies for RealNetworks RealOne Player, the worlds first universal media player.

NTIs CD burning engine is now integrated into the latest version of the RealOne Player, enabling users to quickly and reliably burn authorized multimedia content to CD at speeds of up to 52X (depending on the speed of their writer) without purchasing premium upgrades. The agreement will also enable RealNetworks to integrate advanced CD formats into the RealOne Player, so that users will have a truly comprehensive audio-visual multimedia experience.
