When enabled, AIN notifies the operating system that a CD has been inserted in the drive. In the past, AIN needed to be disabled. This is no longer the case in most situations. CD & DVD-Maker will configure the AIN option at start-up and return it to its original state when CD-Maker 2000 is closed.
